a sign (maybe a chalkboard) in the coffeetalk coffee shop in kaimuki. the shop goes beyond free wifi, being also providers of many many electrical outlets for computer users. (beats the stuffing out of starbucks!) they also let people stay there all day. maybe it's the mom there that says, "at least they're not playing in the streets."

many people do their homework there, and many bring toys (usually electronic ones that they always make sure to pick up before they leave). i don't know of any that brush their teeth there, but there are a couple of regulars who use the location as their office where clients meet them. So perhaps they brush their teeth there, too.
